Pressure in my ears. Dry eyes. 20 hours in airplanes. I feel like my heart is about to explode. I shake my head while I gather books and passport in the bag next to me.
My flight to Kona has been unexpectedly flawless. Prior to this I have fought for a visa, a fight that I didn’t win. I fight that took years. I fight that took me to a completely different destination. This round has been so different. No visits at the Embassy. No mean boarder control. No missed flights. No 15-hour layovers. I have a lot to be thankful for.
Thank you for reading this.
